My husband and I live in Erie, PA and my job is restoring our 1917 Craftsman-style home in Erie.

We’ve bought an old 1897 colonial in Erie with a view towards retirement from the D.C. area in a couple of years. We can’t seem to find anyone who will respond to us via email concerning restoration and history of our home, recommended contractors, where to go for general help, etc. It seems odd to us because in person nearly everyone seems warm and helpful, but on the internet— zero.
